Ancient Indian trick: Sometimes it's easier to measure the grains you won't use (left: 14 lbs) than measuring the grains you WILL use (right: 36 lbs)

I prefer Denny Conn's "Old Stoner" Barley Wine over Jamil's "Monster Barley" in Brewing Classic Styles. Just a matter of preference. That said, no shame in revealing relative inconsistancies over the last five years running. Could I hone in my numbers ... yes. Do I give a shit? Not at all. I still enjoy up with strong ass beer.

That said, no shame in revealing relative inconsistencies over the last five years running. My brew days are seperated by roughly a year on this equipment.  Could I hone in my numbers … yes. Do I give a shit? Not at all. I still enjoy up with strong ass beer.(And yes, I still have some bottles of ’12)

15 packs of Founder's Centennial IPA & All Day IPA for 12.99. Also, pictured center, did you know they now can wine?

Favorite beers of the summer.

  1.  Big Sky – “Camp Robber” – A seasonal porter that is also made special for a local watering hole.  On nitro, it’s A+.
  2.  Founders – “All Day IPA” – Depending on the day, I’d give this the nod or Easy Jack by Firestone Walker.
  3.  Firestone Walker – “Leo vs. Ursus” Double IPA.
  4.  Caldera – “Toasted Coconut Chocolate Porter” – Just lovely.  Not too much in any direction.
